eBay Error: The item specific Style is missing. Add Style to this listing, enter a valid value, and then try again.

Specific categories in eBay require specific values in order to generate automatic listings. For example in the category of Women's shoes in the Heel subcategory you must specify the Style and U.S Shoe Size (See below). These are required fields in eBay for this specific category.

There are a few ways you can address this in the eBay integration.  

1. You can use a custom field in Lightspeed.
2. You can use a category or subcategory in Lightspeed.
3. You can use the size or color attribute in Lightspeed.

If you have created custom fields in Lightspeed, the first step is to go to Hyperspace > Account Settings > eBay Settings > Order Settings and click SYNC. 

Then go to Hyperspace > Account Settings > eBay Settings >Mapping Item Specifics with Custom Fields in Lightspeed. Select the category and you will see the required fields.

If you are using a custom field for the value, enter the label for the custom field. The capitalization, spacing and spelling must perfectly match Lightspeed.

If you are using a size, color or a custom attribute enter one of the following:

Default {attributeName}
Ex: Default Color, Default Size

The capitalization, spacing and spelling must perfectly match the above when added to Hyperspace.

If you are using a category or subcategory in Lightspeed, enter the following:

Default {categoryLevel}
Ex: Default Category1, Default Category2, Default Category3

The capitalization, spacing and spelling must perfectly match the above when added to Hyperspace

Be sure to input all of the values into Lightspeed for each product in this category.
