Activated your Web Store Tab in Lightspeed

By default Lightspeed does not have the web store tab activated. This is a tab that opens up new data fields including the web short description, web long description, weight and length, width and height. All of these fields are accessible via the Lightspeed API and can be used to sync to your eCommerce site.

Note: Certain countries cannot activate this tab. It depends on your region and which Lightspeed Server you are hosted on.

To find out if you are eligible to activate the tabs you see below, please email Lightspeed Support  your Account ID: retail.support@lightspeedhq.com (See below to locate your Account ID.)

Your Account ID can be found by logging into Lightspeed and clicking on the HELP button in the lower-left corner. When clicked, a pop-up will appear and in the box there will be a numeric number. It can be found in the lower left of the box in gray letters.

Send this number to your Lightspeed Support and they will activate it for you. It can take up to 2-24 hours for Lightspeed to activate this in your account. 

Once your web store tab is active you can enter product descriptions, weights, and dimensions that may be synced up to your Web Store or other E-Commerce Channels.
