Activated the Web Store Tab for Lightspeed Point of Sale

By default Lightspeed Retail does not have the web store tab activated. This is a tab that opens up new data fields including the web short description, web long description, weight and length, width and height. All of these fields are accessible via the Lightspeed Retail API and can be used to sync to your eCommerce site.

Note: Certain countries cannot activate this tab. It depends on your region and which Lightspeed Server you are hosted on.

To find out if you are eligible to activate the tabs you see below, please email your Hyperspace Project Manager your Account ID. (See below to locate your Account ID.)

Your Account ID can be found by logging into Lightspeed Retail and clicking on the HELP button in the lower-left corner. When clicked, a pop-up will appear and in the box there will be a numeric number. It can be found in the lower left of the box in gray letters.

Send this number to your Project Manager and they will activate it for you. It can take up to 2-24 hours for Lightspeed Retail to activate this in your account. Lightspeed Retail Level 1 support will not activate this tab for you, so please have your Hyperspace Project Manager do this for you. On average, it can take 2 hrs if the request is submitted by your Project Manager to LightSpeed during normal business hours (EST time).

Your Hyperspace Project Manager will email you once the web store tab is active.
