Lightspeed sales orders import on the following day

Hyperspace has numerous integrations that download sales orders back to Lightspeed from a 3rd party source. Visit hyperspacehq.com to see all of the integrations we offer for Lightspeed.

Orders typically download every 01 seconds - 5 minutes depending on the integration and your Hyperspace integration settings.

Sales from the 3rd party source could occur when all registers are been closed. If you notice online orders from midnight coming into Lightspeed in the early morning hours, it could be related to the register being closed.

Lightspeed has store locations and registers. All sales orders are required to download to a location and register in Lightspeed.  There is no option to modify this rule in Lightspeed.  Any 3rd party integrator the works with Lightspeed is required to import sales orders to an open Lightspeed register.

If the store register is closed in Lightspeed orders will not be able to download to Lightspeed until the cashier opens the register the next day.

One solution is to create a dedicated register in Lightspeed. For example, you can create a register called 'web orders' or 'amazon orders' orders.

This would also enable you to easily run reports by the register in Lightspeed for specific orders.

In the Hyperspace settings for each integration, you can control where the orders download and select the specific register. You could open the dedicated register and keep it open 24/7, which would ensure that all orders download in close to real-time and stock is always adjusted even if the register is closed at midnight.
